Rustic Roots Sanctuary envisions a world where every community is nourished body, mind, and spirit through equitable access to fresh, locally grown food, regenerative land stewardship, and holistic healing. From our sustainable micro-hub in Spanish Lake, we cultivate a model that mentors and empowers growers, expands food access, and heals trauma through deep connection with nature; restoring balance to people, communities, and the planet.
Conceptualized in 2020 as a 6.64-acre nonprofit farm, Rustic has since evolved into a sacred 16-acre space that fosters youth leadership in agriculture, sponsors a senior and young families produce program, as well as hosting the Spanish Lake Farmer’s Market alongside a plethora of holistically restorative events. Driven by purpose and intention, the team is creating a healing space in Spanish Lake that supports the community by way of holistic healing through sustainable access to healthy, fresh, organically grown food. With plans to expand our micro food hub, we look forward to opening The Fresh Picked Farm Stop, a small store and much-needed community asset by 2027.At Rustic Roots Sanctuary, every dollar poured into this land becomes nourishment, education, and access. In a region where fresh, healthy food is still out of reach for too many families, this farm stands as both a resource and a response.
