A place of healing for both animals

Founded in 2017 by Randy Grim, the ranch began as a horse rescue and an assisted living and hospice home for dogs. But, as often happens in rescue, the mission grew as more suffering animals found their way to the ranch.

Upon arrival, each animal receives veterinary care and is lovingly supported by a small team of staff and volunteers. Their care goes far beyond physical healing. Many arrive traumatized, fearful, or shut down, and through proper medical care, enrichment, quality food, clean water, patience, and love, they begin to heal. Over time, many regain their confidence, return to good health, and eventually find forever homes through the ranch’s adoption program.

But the animals are not the only ones transformed by the ranch. Ask any staff member or volunteer, and they will tell you they receive just as much as they give. Love flows freely here, without condition, between people and animals.

The ranch has also created specialized programs that connect rescued animals with children and adults with special needs and autism. These programs help build life skills, encourage socialization, and promote inclusion, creating meaningful, healing experiences for everyone involved.

In 2023, the ranch opened to the general public.

We invite you to visit the Welcome Center, take a tour, meet and treat these incredible animals, and experience the beauty of this special place for yourself. You may come only to visit, but you will leave with a piece of the ranch forever tucked inside your heart.
