Restored For More exists to help youth from at-risk communities in the St. Louis metro area and beyond break the cycle of poverty, crime, and addiction by inspiring them with vision, empowering them with skills, and supporting them on their path to success as they transition from youth to young adults.
Linking Arms is our local school support program where we recruit and provide trained volunteer tutors and mentors to go into schools and work with kids and youth who need additional support in both math and reading. When a student feels supported their confidence increases and they begin to believe that they can succeed. Our volunteers have the unique opportunity to put this hope into them. During the 2024-2026 school year we deployed 67 volunteers to 9 different schools and after school programs in both St. Louis City and County. Our team of volunteers came alongside over 100 minority, and immigrant students and provided individualized instruction.
As we look forward to the 2025-2026 school year we aim to increase volunteers from the communities we serve, deploy volunteers to 1 additional St. Louis City and St. Louis County School, and increase our impact to over 150 students served through a team of 75 active volunteers. Your support allows us to reach students from all over the St. Louis Metro area.
