Refuge & Restoration is renovating a vacant shopping center on the West Florissant corridor. R&R is developing this property in the Dellwood/Ferguson area into a vibrant Marketplace; for the purpose of creating equitable access, reversing disinvestment, cultivating the innovation in the region to produce future change agents and socioeconomic champions for the future.
We will serve individuals, families and businesses in the region through:
1. Workforce Training Center
2. Early Childhood Education Center
3. Banking Partner (Financial empowerment)
4. Innovation Center (Co-working facility for entrepreneurial advancement)
5. Multiplex facility that will host community structured opportunities, including but not limited to a church, health and wellness, events and the arts.
Mission
The R&R Marketplace will meet the needs of the community by providing equitable access to education + civic + community development services. It will provide economic development to North St. Louis County, specifically Dellwood + Ferguson + address all the social determinants of health. Our model will promote economic growth and financial stability and become a center for businesses, nonprofits, and people within the region.
