The Puerto Rican Society, Inc. is a volunteer-led nonprofit committed to celebrating Puerto Rican culture, supporting Latino families, and building a stronger community through cultural programming, scholarships, and community events. Founded in 1994, we proudly celebrate over 30 years of heritage, connection, and service.

Our motto, "Somos tu familia extendida" - we are your extended family - reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming, supportive space for Puerto Ricans and allies in the Midwest. 

We're participating in Give STL Day this year to raise $5,000 that will help us continue creating accessible programs rooted in culture, connection, and community pride. 

Your support helps us:

• Expand our Annual Picnic with music, dancing and activities for all that transport us to our island 
• Launch a Bomba Workshop where youth and adults can learn about traditional Puerto Rican music and dance
• Host theatrical and educational events that honor Puerto Rican history and amplify Latino voices in the arts
• Develop a Speaker Series exploring Puerto Rico's past, present, and future
• Cover storage costs for all of our equipment
