Because everyone deserves to feel safe. Everyone deserves to belong.
Pride St. Charles was born from a simple, powerful truth:
No child should fear being themselves.
When a local mom watched her son worry for his safety after coming out, she knew their family — and so many others — needed something more. They needed a community that would stand with them. A community that would say, “You are safe here. You are loved here.”
What started as one family’s hope has grown into a movement of love, visibility, and resilience. Today, Pride St. Charles is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering year-round support, connection, and celebration for LGBTQIA+ people in St. Charles County and beyond — a region where acceptance is still not guaranteed.
Every year, more than 10,000 people gather at our festival to experience something many spend their whole lives searching for:
a place where they can breathe, be seen, and be embraced exactly as they are.
But Pride St. Charles is so much more than one day.
It’s the teen who found community at a Pride Hike.
It’s the parent who finally heard, “Your child is perfect just as they are.”
It’s the trans adult who walked into our festival and said, “For the first time in years, I feel safe.”
It’s the families who come back every year because this is the one place they know they will be welcomed with open arms.
Your generosity makes moments like these possible.
Every dollar helps us:
🌈 Create safe, affirming spaces for youth, adults, and families
🤝 Build community, especially in areas where LGBTQIA+ support is still limited
📣 Offer resources, visibility, and connection to those who feel alone
🎉 Host events that remind people they are worthy, loved, and never alone
When you give to Pride St. Charles, you’re not just supporting a festival.
You’re helping build a world where every LGBTQIA+ person in our community can live without fear — and with pride.
Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for helping us continue this work.
Together, we are building bridges. And together, we are building community.
Thank you!
