Partners for Pets Give Giving Tuesday is a time to celebrate and support Partners for Pets! As a STL regionally based nonprofit, our shelter dogs, cats, puppies & kittens depend upon this very special time of giving.
Our Giving Tuesday fundraising goal is $10,000 to help us purchase a much-needed transport van for the animals we rescue. So, where are we going? We visit several animals control facilities all over the Metro East region and St. Louis to provide rescue to dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. We also network with freedom transports to provide a second chance to animals coming from areas where they have no shelter and little to no resources. In addition to all that running around we use our vehicles for emergency cases and to transport critically injured animals to specialized veterinary hospitals in Missouri and Illinois. Finally, one of the best rides we provide is a trip to one of the many Petsmart stores we partner with for adoption events. You can find us all throughout the week in Glen Carbon, Belleville, and O'Fallon Petsmart stores with our adoptable pets (please check our Facebook events schedule for days and times www.facebook.com/partners4pets ).
Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 29,000 cats and dogs, supported more than 5,000 community pet owners through low-cost or free veterinary services, and provided more than 14,000lbs of pantry support to local pet parents.
Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they may have been lacking before.
Mission
Partners for Pets works to eliminate the suffering, abandonment and euthanasia of companion animals through assisting animal control facilities, community members, freedom transports and community care based initiatives. Our rescue also provides the resources, education and programs needed to promote community pet wellness.
