Operation Shower® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers life-changing group baby showers to military moms-to-be whose spouses or partners are deployed or who are active duty themselves, to ease the financial and mental health stresses of deployment and separation.
Military families serve alongside their uniformed loved ones in remarkable, often unseen ways; and few experiences highlight that sacrifice more than navigating pregnancy during deployment. To help ease the unique psychological, financial and logistical challenges faced by expectant military women during separation, Operation Shower's exquisitely designed, JOY-infused showers for 25-40 moms at a time not only provide honorees with an abundance of gifts and necessities, but also the priceless opportunity to share support and camaraderie with other military women who truly understand their unique struggles. All of the moms honored by Operation Shower are from junior enlisted or non-commissioned officer families: those most vulnerable to financial hardship.
Since 2007, Operation Shower has showered nearly 10,000 military families from St. Louis and across the U.S. with love, gratitude and support. Please help us continue making an immeasurable impact on those who serve by making a contribution in any amount. Funding supports every aspect of shower orchestration as well as our B Is For Baby program, in which gift boxes are sent to military moms-to-be who are unable to attend an in-person shower due to medical issues or geographic location.
