Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search is a hunger relief organization that serves 200,000 people every month in the bistate region with food, nutrition education and innovative programs. We work on meeting the immediate need for food, while also looking for long-term solutions to solve the problem of hunger. OFS empowers individuals and families and increases access to healthy and affordable food through a network of 330 community partners in 27 Missouri and Illinois counties.
Our mission is to heal hunger with innovative and collaborative solutions that provide food today and help create a hunger-free tomorrow.
