$55,000 Goal

Join Operation Food Search in its mission to heal hunger and build a healthier future—for moms, babies, and our entire community.

On Give STL Day, your gift will be matched up to $15,000 by Stern Brothers, doubling your impact.

All donations support Nourishing Healthy Starts (NHS)—a program helping expectant moms experiencing food insecurity access the nutritious food, education, and care they need for healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.

Without consistent access to healthy food, moms face higher risks of complications, and babies are more likely to experience challenges like low birth weight or premature birth. Through NHS, OFS provides bi-weekly groceries, nutrition education, and personalized support—helping families build a strong, healthy foundation from the very beginning.

This year, we’re celebrating the upcoming birth of the 200th baby in the program.

With your support, we can reach even more families. And thanks to Stern Brothers, your gift will go twice as far.

Healthy Moms. Healthy Babies. A Stronger STL.

Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search is a hunger relief organization that serves 200,000 people every month in the bistate region with food, nutrition education and innovative programs. We work on meeting the immediate need for food, while also looking for long-term solutions to solve the problem of hunger. OFS empowers individuals and families and increases access to healthy and affordable food through a network of more than 600 community partners in 24 Missouri and Illinois counties.
