Help a Family Start Strong
Every family deserves someone they can count on in those first days with a new baby.
At Nurses for Newborns, our nurses meet families right at the beginning—offering guidance, reassurance, and care when it matters most.
This Give STL Day, we’re working to fund 100 first nurse visits for families in our community.
That first visit can make all the difference. It’s a chance to check on both parent and baby, answer questions, and help build confidence from the very start.
With a gift of:
- $25, you help prepare supplies and support a visit
- $50, you help provide guidance and care during a nurse’s visit
- $100, you help make a full visit possible
- $250, you help fully fund a first visit for a family
One of our nurses recently shared how much it meant for a new mom to simply have someone sit with her, answer her questions, and help her feel confident bringing her baby home.
Sometimes, that support changes the course of a child’s life.
When our nurse Karen visited Baby Ben, she noticed he wasn’t responding to sounds the way most babies do. With early intervention and the right care, today Ben is thriving—laughing, playing, and hearing his mom say “I love you.”
Last year, Nurses for Newborns made more than 8,000 home visits, supporting over 2,400 babies and parents across our community.
Your gift today helps ensure families have someone they can count on—from the very beginning.
