RADIATING JOY, STRENGTH AND BOUNDLESS LOVE

Born full of sass and sunshine, Nora cared deeply for those around her but she was also brave, confident and fearless. She had a witty sense of humor and loved to make her family laugh.

Nora’s deep faith and love for Jesus was important to her. These values carried over to how vocal she was about love of family, friends, God’s creatures (especially cats) and being thoughtful and kind to others. Her happiest moments were spent with her parents, brother, and sister, at school with friends, and in activities like Girl Scouts, soccer, gymnastics, and dance.

In March 2024, Nora’s life took an unimaginable turn with a diagnosis of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. Despite the challenges, she fought with incredible strength and resilience, traveling for treatment and even publishing a book, Sparkle of Love, to inspire others facing similar struggles.

Nora passed away in March 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Though her time with us was short, her impact was immense. Her courage, spirit, and love continue to inspire all who knew her.

IN NORA’S HONOR

Today, the Bunn family honors their daughter by supporting future families affected by DIPG/DMG and donating to DIPG/DMG research. Through the establishment of Nora’s Sparkle of Love Project, they continue Nora’s fight against this devastating disease.

Mission

Nora’s Sparkle of Love Project is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for pediatric brain cancer research, inspired by Nora’s fearless spirit. We aim to support families and make a lasting impact in the fight against Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) / Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG) and other childhood brain cancers.
