Monarch Immigrant Services, formerly known as Bilingual International Assistant Services, was founded by refugee women in 2002 and has provided wrap-around mental health and social services to underserved foreign-born communities in St. Louis for the last 23 years. Our multilingual, professional staff offers a wide range of support to this community, free of charge, including:

  • Mental health support to youth and families in their preferred language
  • Navigation of the changing immigration law landscape
  • Support for evacuated Afghan families who provided service to U.S. forces
  • Senior engagement at Missouri’s first recognized International Senior Center.

We serve over 3,200 participants every year, and we continue to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the communities that now call St. Louis home. As we face a hostile climate for immigrants and refugees, we look to the St. Louis community to help us welcome and support them. We will continue to accept new challenges and provide needed resources to new Americans still struggling to find solid footing. We need your help to do so.

•$30 provides 30 minutes of family case management
•$50 provides one hour of professional interpretation for clients during legal immigration meetings
•$100 can provide 45 minutes of individual mental health therapy for immigrant and refugee children
•$200 covers legal assistance for citizenship filing
•$350 provides 14 foreign-born seniors with door-to-door transportation and a warm meal at our senior center
