Magdala House serves adults experiencing homelessness and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the St. Louis community.
Our work is grounded in a simple belief: every person deserves to live with dignity.
Each day, we walk alongside individuals as they rebuild stability, gain independence, and find their place in the community. Through our Tiny Homes community, Adult Day Care program, and ISL services, we provide the support, structure, and resources needed to move forward.
For someone experiencing homelessness, that often begins with a safe place to live. From there, we connect them to critical support, including rehabilitation services, counseling, and job readiness resources like resume building and employment preparation, helping individuals take meaningful steps toward stability and independence.
For individuals in our Adult Day Care and ISL programs, support is personalized and intentional. Each person receives individualized support while remaining actively engaged in their community. Through structured programming and daily support, individuals build life skills, make choices, and grow in environments that foster independence, confidence, and meaningful connection.
But what we provide goes beyond services.
We create spaces where people feel seen. Where they are supported. Where they can begin to take pride in their lives again.
We have seen individuals move from uncertainty to stability, from isolation to connection, and from surviving to building something more.
That is the impact of Magdala House.
And it is only possible because of the support of people like you.
