ABOUT US

The Montessori Lab School at Grand Center is a thriving school community offering children ages 15 months to 12 years an authentic, urban, Montessori education centered around the development of the whole child. Using Montessori methods, the Lab School instills personal responsibility, critical thinking, resilience, and respect for others, giving children a foundation for learning that will stay with them throughout their lifetime.

We operate under the world-renowned Montessori Training Center of St. Louis, an internationally recognized affiliate of the Association Montessori Internatonale. The Training Center provides accessible, high-fidelity training for educators and families through courses designed on the pedagogical principles scientifically developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, and by modeling those principles in practice.

Mission

Montessori Training Center of St. Louis (MTCSTL) trains adult learners to become authentic Montessori guides who offer developmentally based educational experiences to children from ages birth through 12 years of age.

Additionally, MTCSTL provides access to Montessori education for children ages 14 months through Grade 6 in the City of St. Louis through Montessori Lab School at Grand Center.
