“Thank you, Missouri Appleseed, for making our voices heard.” –Formerly incarcerated survivor of domestic violence

Missouri Appleseed is busy working for Missouri families. This year, our focus has been on several projects: Fair Sentencing for Survivors of Domestic Violence and Coercion, Mental Health Needs in Missouri Jails, Restore the Right to Vote for People on Probation and Parole, Enrolling Missouri Jail Populations in Medicaid, and SNAP for People with Felony Drug Convictions.

With your support we can help individuals succeed after incarceration.

"I would ask each one of you to support Missouri Appleseed." –Jeanne Merritt, Marketing Coordinator, Missouri Sheriffs’ Association

Research shows that healthcare access, voting rights restoration, and access to SNAP reduces recidivism, fosters engagement in communities, and strengthens families. With research involving surveys, focus groups, and testimonials, Missouri Appleseed will advocate for important components of successful reentry into the community.

“We appreciate you.” –Anonymous jail resident

This Give STL Day, our goal is to raise $5,000 to continue being busy bees. By investing in impactful changes, Missouri Appleseed aims to help individuals succeed after release–and build stronger families and communities.
