Lutheran Family & Children Services of Missouri

A nonprofit organization

LFCS is a statewide social services agency providing mental health, parenting, foster care, adoption, child development, and community prevention services. The agency provides services across the entire State of Missouri and focuses services on children and families. The goals of services are to improve mental health symptoms, reduce child abuse and neglect, and improve familial relationships and connections.

Hilltop Child and Family Development Center, operated by Lutheran Family and Children’s Services of Missouri, has been providing high-quality, safe early childhood services for over 50 years. The center focuses on promoting healthy child development using age-appropriate activities that encourage physical, cognitive, and social growth.

Over the past 30 years, LFCS has extended its physical presence from the St. Louis area across the state, expanding services into Cape Girardeau, Columbia, Springfield, Franklin County, Joplin, and Kansas City. Time and time again, LFCS has taken on new challenges and expanded its capacity to meet the needs of the children and families in our community.
