Since 1956, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri has provided free civil legal advocacy and representation for low-income clients who otherwise would have nowhere else to turn for help. Legal Services helps more than 30,000 people each year with four offices in St. Louis, Clayton, Union and Hannibal serving 21 eastern Missouri counties.

Legal Services helps:
- Victims of domestic violence seeking orders of protection and divorce/child custody;
-People needing unemployment assistance, food stamps, and other public benefits;
- Families needing crucial health insurance and health care;
- Families with children needing special education services;
- Benefits for people with disabilities, veterans and the elderly;
- Victims of consumer fraud and unfair debt;
- Victims of human trafficking seeking safety and security;
- Client with serious mental illness;
- Neighborhood Associations to revitalize their communities;
- Low-income entrepreneurs and non-profits to realize their dreams.
