About Laumeier

Laumeier is an internationally recognized, nonprofit arts organization that is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and operates in partnership with St. Louis County Parks. It is dedicated to creativity, community connections, and the restorative benefits of art and nature. Laumeier presents more than 70 works of large-scale outdoor sculpture in a 105-acre park located in the heart of St. Louis County. Free and open daily, Laumeier serves 360,000 visitors of all ages each year through education programs, art exhibitions, and community events. Laumeier strives to ensure the Park is welcoming and accessible to all.

Studies continue to show that being outdoors and making art can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and have positive impacts on wellness and healing. Laumeier fills vital needs by providing access to an outdoor space for safe social convergence, regenerative fresh air and sunshine, as well as pathways to intellectual stimulation and creative expression.
