Kidz Code is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free coding lessons to kids in grades 4-6 with an emphasis on expanding this free opportunity to kids in underserved communities. Lessons are weekly, 30-minutes, and online so that anyone can access them. In the rapidly evolving world, technology skills are crucial no matter what field you go into. Your donation would help us expand our program to children who are interested in technology who may not usually be able to access opportunities like this.
1. To provide children with a well-guided, enjoyable, and age-appropriate pathway to explore their early interest in technology and coding.
2. To enable technology-interested children to gain a beginners’ understanding of coding through a students-teach-students method before they engage with professional instructors.
3. To ensure that children in underserved environments can also benefit from early opportunities to learn about technology and coding.
