Joy Petalers cultivates JOY by taking flowers that would otherwise be thrown out and upcycles them into smaller arrangement that are then taken out into the STL Community to senior living, memory care, assisted living and veteran's facilities, as well as women's shelters and other non-profits. We serve over 25 facilities and 12 non-profits currently and we see that number continuing to grow. Our organization is 100% volunteer driven and no one takes a salary. Your donation will go to off set the cost of vases, office expenses and even insurance.
Our flowers come from events, weddings, florists, funerals and retailers. The flowers may be past there use and/or retail shelf life, but they just need some extra TLC that our volunteers (Floristas) provide. WE bring JOY to those who many otherwise be subject to or battling depression, isolation and loneliness. Each bouquet is made with love and thought. The colors, the composition, the vase are all done by hand with a purpose. Our mission is personal. How can you not smile knowing someone created a bouquet with intension and love for you!
