IFM Community Medicine lives our mission every day by taking healthcare services directly to points of need in our community, overcoming access barriers related to cost, transportation, language and trust.

Our unique programs and collaborative partnerships with schools, shelters and other social service organizations break down barriers to quality health care by bringing primary and preventative services to the points of most need in our community.

By establishing clinics within the walls of those organizations IFM provides care in a cost-effective way thereby reducing the barriers for those who otherwise would have difficulty in appropriately accessing the traditional health care delivery system.

IFM operates 34 clinic sites and provides more than 10,000 patient visits each year throughout the St. Louis metro area. Over 60% of our patients are children 18 and under and 75% are minorities. We improve quality of life for those in the most need: underserved children, homeless teens, those recovering from domestic abuse, low-income families, and immigrants & refugees settling in St. Louis.

Mission

IFM Community Medicine's mission is to strengthen underserved communities, one patient at a time to promote community health.
