Hope Clinical Care

A nonprofit organization

Hope Clinical Care provides a full range of services for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in St. Louis through The Autism Clinics at Hope and Therapy Relief at Hope. ASD presents difficulties in communication, social interaction, sensory regulation, abstract thought processing plus absorbing and interpreting information. Autism challenges a child's relationships at home, school and play. Through Hope's programming and therapeutic interventions, individuals with disabilities receive necessary therapies that lead to happy, productive, independent lives.
With our toddlers and preschoolers, Hope enhances Kindergarten readiness through improved communication, social interaction, physical activity and self-calming skills. Hope professionals work with the children to redirect their tendency to restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests or activities. Sensory adaptive play materials deliver soothing sights, sounds, textures and movement to ease sensory overload and stress in children with ASD. Through play with sensory adaptive toys and materials, Hope children practice essential social interaction, sharpen communication skills, learn to remain close by a peer or teacher and collaborate with imaginative play.
Hope has 65+ years of experience providing for the unique needs of children with disabilities. Hope is accredited by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is the most widely recognized and scientifically backed treatment for children with autism. Qualified Hope behaviorists provide medically necessary treatment including ABA, speech-language, physical and/or occupational therapies to help our children communicate, interact with others and develop independent living skills. A Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and oversees each child's programming and individualized learning objectives at Hope.
