Hello! Our names are Sarah Walsh and Emily Tyler, and we proudly co-founded Ladies, Littles, and Lattes, a mommy and me playgroup serving Franklin County, MO. Since our inception in September 2022, we've witnessed tremendous growth and community support, culminating in our successful launch in April 2023. Our private Facebook group has swiftly amassed over 1,300+ moms in a short amount of time, underscoring the vital need for such a space in our area and beyond.
Our mission has always been centered on providing a nurturing, inclusive environment, where all who enter and leave feel embraced and empowered. From words of encouragement to indulgent treats and monthly giveaways, we strive to foster connections and support among our members, while also extending gratitude to local businesses through referrals.
Today, we reach out with a vision: to establish an indoor play cafe for our community, called Growing Roots Play Cafe. More than just a play space, this venture aims to offer a sanctuary for parents and caregivers, facilitating connections and enriching experiences for both adults and children alike. Our envisioned play area will feature a climbing play structure, diverse learning stations, encompassing fine motor skills, imaginative play, sensory exploration, and soft play, all designed to encourage interactive learning and development.
In addition, our cozy cafe will provide a haven for families to savor freshly baked goods, wholesome snacks, and beverages, fostering an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and productivity. Moreover, we plan to offer a range of services, including birthday parties, themed events, prenatal classes, therapy/counseling, and educational classes, all while prioritizing community engagement and support for local businesses.
We have high hopes, dreams, and expectations for what we plan to provide for our community. As we embark on this journey, we have obtained and secured our 501c3 status to access vital funding and grants. However, we recognize the importance of broader community involvement. Thus, we invite businesses, organizations, and individuals alike to join us in realizing this dream through founding donations and sponsorships.
