GRO Health Center is dedicated to creating healthier, more sustainable communities through innovative programming in economic development, environmental stewardship, and community health. We aim to uplift underserved neighborhoods by equipping individuals and families with the tools they need to build stable futures, lead healthier lives, and contribute meaningfully to their local economy.
Through our comprehensive programs, GRO Health Center skill-building, education, and opportunity. The Urban Fresh Food Market increases access to nutritious, locally grown produce while supporting small-scale growers and food entrepreneurs. Our Master GardenHER program empowers women and girls with knowledge in sustainable gardening, wellness, and leadership, helping them grow their impact from the ground up. Our Beginning Farmer Incubator supports aspiring growers in developing viable farm businesses, generating economic activity while promoting sustainable land use. The GRO Demonstration Farm and Garden District transforms vacant land into vibrant learning spaces where residents can explore hands-on training in conservation, food production, and green infrastructure.
At GRO Health Center we believe that thriving neighborhoods begin with access to knowledge, to opportunity, and to resources that make well-being and success possible. With your support, we can continue to grow programs that nourish lives, develop careers, and strengthen the health and resilience of our communities for generations to come.
