Gigi's Tribe

Across our communities, thousands of children are being raised by grandparents, relatives, and other family members who stepped in when life took an unexpected turn. These grandfamilies did not plan for this chapter. They stepped up out of love. But love alone does not cover school fees, sports costs, clothing, counseling, or everyday needs.

Gigi’s Tribe was created to walk alongside these families.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting grandparents and grandfamilies who are raising children. Our mission is simple. When families step up, we step in.

Many grandparents raising grandchildren are living on fixed incomes. They suddenly face the cost of raising children again while navigating emotional, financial, and logistical challenges. These families often fall into a gap where they do not qualify for enough assistance, yet still struggle to provide opportunities that help children thrive.

That is where Gigi’s Tribe makes a difference.

Through the generosity of donors and community partners, Gigi’s Tribe helps provide support such as:

• Help with youth sports registration and equipment.
• Support for music lessons, art programs, and extracurricular activities.
• Assistance with summer camps and educational opportunities.
• Help with school clothing, supplies, and activity fees.
• Encouragement and connection for grandparents who often feel alone.

Our goal is not just to meet needs. It is to restore joy. We want grandparents to experience the smiles, laughter, and meaningful moments that come with raising children, without the constant weight of financial stress.
