Family Resources and Community Connections Incorporated is a non-profit and public charity organization organized in 2011 in Missouri and IRS-approved in 2014, impacting the lives of children, parents, and underserved communities by addressing social needs and issues through education, prevention, awareness, and advocacy. We facilitate empowerment workshops for families and the under-served, which include youth development, group mentoring, reading and fluency, tutoring, community art for children and parents, financial literacy, and education for both children and parents which help with self-sufficiency, economic empowerment, and financial wellness. As funds are available, we provide case management to determine how FRCC can assist with various types of relief, like. essentials, toiletries, utilities, rent, mortgage, and other necessities. Below are a few FRCC projects that are provided to help address social needs, issues, mental, health, and advocacy, and to help develop productive lives for children, families, and communities. Other programs about our Community Intergenerational Arts project for the entire family, Reading and Fluency for 1st through 6th grades, and Pen or Pencil Group Mentoring, can be found at our Website, www.frccstl.org. In addition to helping transform lives, we develop fundraisers to assist with social assistance, such as prescriptions for senior adults, rent, utilities, and the unhoused. FRCC is firmly committed to partnerships and community engagement, where we also assist, and advocate for justice, equality, and equity. Some of our partners are the Hazelwood Bright Futures Network of counselors and social workers, the National Alliance of Faith and Justice, St. Louis Regional Arts Commission, Berean District Association (faith-based organization of churches), and TRIO Talent Research. FRCC serves St. Louis County and St. Louis City Populations, and is committed to positively impacting and empowering the community.
