The Duane H. Tolen Sr. Foundation, based in Florissant, Missouri, is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Duane Tolen Sr., a passionate mentor and community leader. The foundation provides mentorship, emotional support, and family-focused programs to help underserved youth and families thrive. Its mission is rooted in the belief that empowering young people with life skills, guidance, and positive role models can break cycles of adversity and open pathways to success.
A central initiative of the foundation is the Boys 2 Ment.o.r.r.s program (Men Teaching Others Respect and Responsibilities), which Duane Tolen Sr. founded in 2019. This program has mentored, clothed, fed, and supported over 500 boys, offering meals, counseling, clothing, and other necessities to help break generational cycles of adversity.
The foundation operates under the guiding principle: “They have to see it, before they can be it,” reflecting its commitment to providing young men with positive role models and opportunities to envision and achieve a better future.
