The Convergence Symphonic Band is a dedicated group of musicians who are committed to providing high quality FREE performances. We have over 90 musicians on our roster. Everyone is invited to attend our concerts. We seek to feature various conductors as well as outstanding soloists from the area. We feature some music that is composed by the band members or our conductor, Gary Gackstatter.
The Convergence Symphonic Band provides music education to band members and the St. Louis community through free public performances. The band provides opportunities for specialized music groups/ensembles and guest artists to perform within the community. We create an environment that promotes high quality performances, as well as an inclusive forum for musicians to come together to create a family-like musical society.
