Coalition Life

Founded in 2011, Coalition Life is the nation's largest professional pro-life sidewalk counseling organization. Our goal is to ensure that every woman seeking an abortion in the United States first encounters a loving and effective advocate for life.

Coalition Life’s innovative “St. Louis Method” of sidewalk counseling is now imitated nationwide. Our sidewalk counselors peacefully reach out to women at the gates of abortion facilities with referrals to health services and other resources from local life-affirming providers. Currently, we provide the last line of defense for the preborn at six facilities in Overland Park, KS; Fairview Heights, IL (suburban St. Louis); Carbondale, IL (southern Illinois abortion tourism destination); and Flossmoor, IL (suburban Chicago).

Our pregnancy center serves women referred by our sidewalk counselors, other agencies, and those who find us online. A member of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA), we provide specialized and comprehensive support during pregnancy and beyond, often including free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds; help finding safe housing, job training, financial assistance for bills or child care; and referrals to counseling, residency programs, or programs for teen moms.
