Chorus of Fools is a nonprofit theatre company based in St. Louis, founded in 2024 with a bold mission: to amplify new voices, nurture emerging talent, and invite more people into the world of theatre—on both sides of the stage.
In our first year, we’ve already:
Premiered four new plays by local playwrights
Launched a mentorship program to develop new scripts
Built an Artistic Ensemble that reflects the diversity and creativity of our city
Made our work more accessible by incorporating sensory-friendly concepts, partnering with ASL interpreters, and launching our Share the Stage initiative, which provides free tickets to people facing barriers to attendance
We believe theatre should be a place where everyone feels welcome—whether you’re a seasoned actor, a first-time playwright, or someone seeing a play for the very first time. In 2025, we’re expanding our impact even further by offering artist workshops, producing more original work, and continuing to build a space where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
