$6,000 Goal

Spay/neuter isn’t just part of the solution — it is the solution to ending pet homelessness.

At Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic, we focus on prevention because it’s the only way to truly reduce the number of animals entering overcrowded shelters. Every surgery prevents future litters before they’re born, breaking the cycle of overpopulation at its source and sparing animals from being born into hardship.

Since 2012, Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic has provided more than 150,000 spay/neuter surgeries and tens of thousands of affordable wellness visits. That milestone represents millions of cats and dogs never born into homelessness, suffering, or uncertain futures — and a meaningful reduction in the number of animals who end up in shelters facing limited resources and, too often, unnecessary euthanasia.

We believe people should never have to choose between caring for their families and caring for their pets. That’s why we work to eliminate barriers to care, including cost, transportation, and access. Our St. Louis clinic operates at full capacity, yet too many communities still lack affordable spay/neuter and basic veterinary services. Expanding our reach allows us to bring care closer to the families who need it most.

This is prevention that works.
This is compassion in action.
And this is how we create lasting change — by stopping suffering before it starts and ensuring more pets can live happily ever after in safe, loving homes.

Mission
