Caped Crusaders Cat Rescue is a 501c3 Nonprofit Licensed brick and mortar cat shelter in Union Missouri with a large network of foster homes and volunteers. Our mission statement is to make a dent in the homeless cats and kittens population in Missouri. We save an average 450 cats and kittens a year.
Along with a physical shelter located at 830 N Oak St, Union, MO 63084, we also have foster homes that specialize in fospice (end of life care) for homeless cats, neonatal (baby) kitten care, and extreme medical cases.
All of our workforce is completely volunteer (although we hope to add a paid rescue helper by the end of 2026!) and the funds raised go to help cats and kittens in our care. We spend an average of $3,000.00 a month on veterinary care alone. We couldn't do that without donors like you!

Zachary and Alexandria Stroup have a passion for rescuing animals and have been working with cats for many years. Our mission statement is to make a dent in the homeless cats and kittens population in Missouri. All of our cats and kittens are raised in homes and very socialized. We strive to give you the best experience when adopting a new family member!
