Since our founding in 2002, BARC has subsidized 81,000+ spay/neuter surgeries for dogs and cats throughout Missouri and Illinois. In 2022 BARC's spay/neuter program expanded to Rolla, MO.
BARC subsidizes year-round spay/neuter services for low-income pet owners, helping prevent unwanted litters before they begin. In 2025, we subsidized 4,177 surgeries at the two amazing Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinics locations.
BARC's affordable program removes financial barriers to care. We do not impose residency restrictions, and services are reserved for pet owners who demonstrate financial need, including participation in government assistance programs.
