💜 ART4Epilepsy is a non-profit organization created to raise Awareness, provide Resources, and support the quest for new Treatments for individuals who are impacted by epilepsy. ART4Epilepsy evolved after the loss of three incredible artists, members of one talented family branch in our larger family tree. The loss of these much-loved individuals has not only left a huge hole in the hearts of our family and friends, it has also left a huge hole in the art world, where their creations once filled it with beauty.
💜 Epilepsy is a neurological disorder that affects roughly 1 in 26 people in the United States. Its symptoms and outcomes range from mild to life-threatening. The impact on the lives of those with this disorder and their loved ones are forever changed. And there is still so much that is not known.
💜 ART4Epilepsy uses the power of art to support individuals impacted by epilepsy, their families, caregivers, and the broader community. Art is one of the most powerful ways people express emotions and ideas—it communicates things that words sometimes can't. Through creative expression, whether you’re making art or simply experiencing it, we help individuals process and convey emotions, find meditative focus, and foster healing. Our collaborative projects build community, raise awareness, bring joy, and inspire social change.
💜 Your Give STL Day donation helps ART4Epilepsy:
🎨Provide FREE art classes for groups affected by epilepsy: kids' art classes, teen & adult sessions, and caregiver classes.
🎨Help fill some of the ART4Epilepsy backpacks with art supplies needed for 2025. Current annual need is 800+ children's art bags and 250+ teen/adult art bags for local hospitals, bringing creativity and comfort right to their bedside.
🎨 Help for family fun day in Tilles Park on Saturday, May 10th, to celebrate Eric's birthday with games, food, art, and the best medicine of all: laughter.
We believe we’re better together!
Your generosity creates: Connection. Healing. Hope. Every brushstroke matters, YOU make it possible. 💜
Thank you, ART4Epilepsy
