Hello,
All Hands On Deck: St. Louis has grown from serving just a few people once a week to supporting over 500 patrons weekly, through our FREE Groceries Community Food SHARE (Share Health And Resources Equitably). As an all-volunteer nonprofit, we provide FREE, fresh, wholesome food, grocery items and essential supplies across the STL metro area, aligning our mission with UN Sustainable Development Goals like Zero Hunger.
To maintain this growth and serve our community with dignity, we urgently need a permanent building and dedicated vehicles. Currently, we operate using personal cars and temporary Pop-Up spaces, which limits our reach.
This Give STL Day, your donation directly supports the frontline:
- $5: Sanitizer or gloves
- $10: Storage supplies, paper towels
- $25:Diapers and hygiene product
- $100: Solar lighting for evening SHAREs
- $500: Vehicle rental and fuel for a month
- $1,000+: Seed funding for a permanent home and vehicles
At All Hands On Deck: STL, we go beyond weekly FOOD SHAREs by hosting our SHARE & Support Community Resource Fairs twice a year. We bring together 30+ organizations to meet families where they are. These events provide access to healthcare resources, government services like parking ticket forgiveness and property tax relief for tornado-damaged homes, and critical community support, all in one place. We intentionally create a welcoming, family-centered environment with a FREE picnic, fun activities for kids, fire trucks, and water features, so accessing resources feels safe, joyful, and dignified. Alongside these services, we host a large-scale FOOD SHARE to ensure no one leaves without nourishment.
Your support helps us build a more sustainable and equitable future—especially for children and seniors. Through our work, kids gain access to fresh, healthy food that supports their growth, learning, and overall well-being, while seniors especially those unlimited income, receive consistent, nutritious options that support their health and independence. Give STL Day donations allow us to continue expanding these efforts - rescuing food, reducing waste, and connecting our community to the resources they need not just to survive, but to thrive.
If you cannot donate, please consider volunteering to help stock tables, pickup food or greet neighbors at a SHARE. You can get involved at www.AllHandsSTL.org or follow us on social media. We host SHAREs every day (except Tuesday) throughout the metro STL area!
Thanks & best always,
