$0 Goal

Access was founded in 2005 by a small group of St. Louisans convinced that education was the most enduring path to economic stability. Embracing an innovative model that emphasized extended school days, a challenging enrichment curriculum, scholarships to college-prep high schools, and 11+ years of counseling, they started the first Academy with 15 eighth graders in a single South City middle school. Today, Access serves over 400 students in partner middle and high schools around St. Louis and at over 61 colleges and post-secondary institutions across the country.

Since 2005, Access has invested more than $10.7 million in scholarships to high school and college students and positively impacted more than 1,437 students across the St. Louis region. 98% of our graduates have been accepted to private, college-prep high schools; 97% graduate high school on time; 94% are accepted to colleges, universities, or other post-secondary institutions; and 93% enroll in college or other post-secondary institution upon high school graduation.

Mission

Access propels middle school students who have been historically underserved through high school and on to college and career success with enrichment, counseling, and scholarships.

Access envisions a vibrant St. Louis community where equity in education allows every child to think, dream, and achieve big.
