Asthma and Allergy Impact and Rescue

Our journey began over 40 years ago as a regional chapter of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Today, we are AAIR — Asthma and Allergy Impact and Rescue — an organization with a nationwide mission to see all children rescued at school, healthy at home, and connected to care.

BREATH, the home-based program, serves children and families who do not have health insurance, are in the process of applying for Medicaid or state-funded insurance for children, or have insurance and need assistance with out-of-pocket expenses. 

RESCUE, the school-based program, reaches K-12 public schools in MO and IL to provide students, teachers, and nurses with training, medication, and supplies. 

AAIR believes that every child should: have the necessary resources to learn and thrive at school, have a safe and healthy environment in their home and community, be connected to a medical professional who will provide care in their neighborhood.
