Leverage Dance Theater is joyous to start off our 10th season with "River of Time" May 12-14 at Intersect Arts Center, a full length concert of new works by old friends, including R. Vance Baldwin, Lindsay Hawkins, and founding company member, Hannah Fischer. The show reflects on the company's 10 years, where they have been, what they have learned, and where they hope to go.
We also can not be prouder to have received a 2021 Regional Emmy Award for our first show film, "Quarantined" (2020 Regional Addy Award), produced during Covid!
Since you last saw us, we created two new productions on Cherokee Street, including "This Is Our Show", and the fourth installment of our Halloween series, "Nightmares & Dreamscapes". In an effort to further increase accessibility and support those with financial limitations, free tickets were available to each performance.
We cannot be grateful enough to our donors and funders for continuing to support us in this time when producing live performances has been challenging and with often unreliable circumstances.

A full length concert going back to our roots at Intersect Arts Center. In an effort to further increase the accessibility of live dance programming, this year we have made it easy for supporters of the arts to purchase a ticket for someone who can not afford one.
RECOLLECTIONS: Dance On-Site
September 8-9
A 10 year site-specific retrospective, montage, and mania featuring current and past company artists.
NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES: Dance On-Site
A reprisal of 2022's successful fourth installment of Leverage's Halloween-themed performances, this event will bring Leverage's unique programming to Cherokee Street itself, and will partner with other local artists and venues for a truly unique evening blending art and culture.
* Dance On-Site is our series of evening-length, site-specific concerts. Leverage is the only dance company in St. Louis whose focus is to creating immersive performance experiences.

ARMCHAIR CHOREOGRAPHY CO-LABS
Free interactive events designed to allow audiences participate in the choreographic process
SURPRISE DANCE presents works in public spaces and/or at community events not traditionally designed to accommodate dance. These free events, like flash mobs, take advantage of existing and captive audiences: people waiting in lines, walking to a destination, eating or shopping with a view of the performance. These performances are a way to reach new and diverse audiences, and to offer communities free access and exposure to professional dance.
DOVETAIL RECEPTIONS at Intersect Arts Center introduce immediate community members of Intersect Arts Center to Leverage's unique style of modern dance theater.
