Kinetic Tapestry Physical Theatre has three basic programming areas. First, Kinetic Tapestry is a professional performance company. The company produces its own original theatrical circus shows as well as offering contracting performance services.
Second, the Company has its own Circus Barn studio in Maryland Heights where training is offered through classes and workshops in various performance techniques and circus arts for children and adults. This space also provides a venue to host professional development workshops for working performing artists.
The third and final program area involves community benefit. They train local young performers through free community workshops, classes and through their Barnstormers Youth Circus Troupe, which performs for no charge for local community events, nursing homes and charitable events. Their adult company performers do shows in the community at subsidized cost and each year Kinetic Tapestry does a global trip where they offer their performances and workshops in another country free of charge.
To inspire and enrich people through entertaining and meaningful performances using a blend of Theatre, Dance and Circus Arts and to provide high quality training to artists in techniques of performance and production.
