Infant Loss Resources

A nonprofit organization

Infant Loss Resources (formerly SIDS Resources) began over 40 years ago as a group of parents who had lost infants to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Through outreach, training and risk reduction efforts, Infant Loss Resources has helped lower the number of babies who die in the first year of life. Families who do experience the sudden loss of a baby receive free bereavement support services. Each year, Infant Loss Resources provide educational programs to over 400 professional /community groups( state wide) , representing over 3,000 individuals who receive information on Safe Sleep. Direct bereavement support is given to over 200 families state wide annually. Infant Loss Resources has regional offices in St Louis, Kansas City and satellite office in Springfield, Missouri. Today, Infant Loss Resources, Inc. services families throughout the state of Missouri and in surrounding counties of Illinois and Kansas.
