HEC Media is your community broadcaster and we are proud to be part of the community and doing our part to make our community a better place.

We're a small crew of media professionals dedicated to telling the stories about the best of St. Louis. We seek out the true stories of people making a difference in our community: the stories of artists, educators, entrepreneurs and thinkers. We connect the community with its institutions, companies, government and non-profits. Our stories help artists, organizations, startups and educators and more seek funding, gain exposure, make connections, earn grants, learn about our governing bodies' plans and educate our children.

When COVID-19 threatened our arts and culture organizations, who rely on patrons for most of their income, we proudly announced a groundbreaking new initiative to keep our Arts and Cultural organizations engaged with their patrons, funders, supporters, and the broader community.

When the shut-down kept children from school, Educate.Today (our sister education side) brought even more virtual field trips, educational programming and lesson plans to parents and kids to make sure our students can stay engaged with their studies.

And we've continued our Emmy-winning journalism, bringing you the stories of vaccine researchers, Wash U medical students who produced more than 1,600 face shields in three days, how COVID-19 is impacting animals and the zoo, nonprofits getting creative, author interviews and so much more.
