Churches for Life

A nonprofit organization

Churches for Life is a gospel-centered, multifaceted ministry that affirms the sacred dignity of human life from conception through life's natural end. While abortion is the life issue that may first come to mind, there are many other issues that are biblically and ethically similar. There are many ways and places that human lives are put in peril.

Churches for Life is an non-denominational ministry; however, our particular focus is Protestant evangelical churches, where there is often a significant lack of engagement concerning life issues. Most Protestant denominations have no organized effort to train, coach, and encourage groups of people within local churches regarding life issues.

For thirteen years, Churches for Life has been providing the training and coaching necessary for churches to establish and sustain life ministry. The cornerstone of this ministry is a Life Team - a small group of people in a church who are trained by Churches for Life and then in turn provide events and activities to equip people in their congregation to affirm life.

The professionally developed training that Churches for Life provides for Life Team Members and Life Team Leaders is available in a live, video, or print format. It includes the following components:
• Life Team Basics (acquaints people with the 9 Qualities of a Life Team)
• Life Team Roadmap (gives a step-by-step plan for starting a Life Team)
• Life Team Leadership (provides guidance for leaders)
• Mission Discovery Process (presents a strategic-planning process for Life Teams)

Here's how much it costs Churches for Life to impact churches:
• $5.28 helps us print one Life Team training manual (need to purchase at least 500)
• $52.80 helps us print the materials to start one Life Team
• $528.00 helps us host a Leadership Breakfast for Pastors and Ministry Leaders
• $5,280.00 helps us strengthen Life Teams by hosting our annual Life Summit
