In 2024, the Christian Hospital Foundation played a critical role in enabling Christian Hospital to provide essential healthcare services, including 326 flu shots, over 3,000 rides to medical appointments, nearly 800 prescription medications, 88 mammograms, and personalized care coordination through our breast health navigator who assisted 37 women with accessing vital breast and cervical health services. All of these resources-and many more- were offered at little to no cost to underinsured and uninsured patients.
That’s because the Christian Hospital Foundation firmly believes that every person-regardless of income, ZIP Code, or background-deserves access to compassionate and high-quality healthcare. However, many women in our community still face significant obstacles that delay diagnoses, disrupt treatment, and threaten long-term health.
On Give STL Day, your contributions to the Christian Hospital Foundation help break down these barriers, allowing more women to receive the critical care they need, precisely when they need it most.
Christian Hospital is proud to offer a comprehensive suite of programs designed to support women at every stage of life. From primary and preventive care to cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, and chronic disease management, our top-ranked physicians and care teams deliver expert, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs. Women across our region turn to Christian Hospital for support with everything from managing high blood pressure and navigating menopause to living with chronic conditions like diabetes and congestive heart failure, as well as accessing specialized cancer care.
By supporting our Building Healthy Communities Fund, your gift powers a comprehensive approach to patient wellness— providing access to preventive screenings and healthcare resources, medically tailored food and nutrition plans, transportation to medical appointments, lodging vouchers, and vaccine clinics. Most importantly, your support ensures that women who might otherwise go without care receive the critical services they need—with dignity and support.
