Behind Every Great Clubhouse Moment?    People like you.

The Brain Injury Foundation of St. Louis is the premier provider of employment services for those who have sustained a brain injury.  We support individuals on their journey back to competitive employment.   This year's contributions support the delivery and expansion of Dura Mater Clubhouse programs.

Services we provide include:

Clubhouse Programming: Assists individuals with brain injury to maintain the skills needed for home and community independence.  The work ordered day focuses on member goals which target socialization, problem solving, and memory strategies in everyday functional tasks.

Prevocational Training (PreVoc): This service prepares individuals for competitive employment with authentic work experiences on a community site.  Specific target goals are identified for interventions such as production rate, inappropriate social behavior, or fatigue that are barriers to direct vocational placement.

Job Development and Return-to-Work: These employment service focus on employment preparedness, job development and employment retention services.  Return-to-work for individuals with brain injury is a very specialized service we offer supporting individuals in returning to their career following an injury.

Psychotherapy and Counseling: A psychotherapist who specializes in brain injury is available to individuals and families.
