Arch Grants

Arch Grants disrupted the status quo of economic development in 2012 with a mission to transform the economy - in St. Louis and throughout the world - by attracting and retaining extraordinary entrepreneurs. Through our unique and groundbreaking Startup Competition model, we provide up to $100,000 in equity-free grants and access to an ecosystem of resources, helping early-stage startups grow and scale. Arch Grants' program is a beacon for entrepreneurs globally, developing the next generation of employers, civic leaders, and philanthropists for the St. Louis region.

Since Arch Grants Global Startup Competition was launched in 2012, we have awarded $14.1 million in grants to 230 unique and innovative companies. Our portfolio companies have cumulatively created over 3,000 jobs in the St. Louis region, generated $699 million in revenue, and attracted over $650 million in follow-on capital. Of the 230 companies we've funded, 161 are active and 85% of our active companies continue to operate in St. Louis. Applicants from all 50 states and over 100 countries have applied to Arch Grants' Startup Competition, resulting in over 165 promising startups moving to St. Louis for our program.
