All For Family invites you to partner with us to help us continue our work in keeping families connected one visit at a time. We are changing lives and bringing families closer together for foster children and families in and near Jefferson County, Missouri with both our volunteer based and therapeutic supervised family visit programs. However, with nearly 600 children in foster care in Jefferson County alone, this is a big undertaking, and we can't do it alone without your help and support.
At All For Family, we feel that poverty should never keep families apart. This is why, thanks to your generous donations, along with grant funding, and amazing volunteers, supervised family visits are free for at least 90% of our clients, including our therapeutic visits.
However, in order to continue our program, we are facing a couple of critical needs. First, we are in desperate need of more active volunteer visit supervisors so we can move families off of our waiting list. Second, we are currently at risk of closing one of our two visit locations due to limited funding as donations have been down the last couple of years. Closing down one of our locations would be detrimental to some of client families as the commute to our location could create a hardship for them &/or the placement providers who would be transporting the children to the visits. We are, therefore, hopeful to avoid this scenario if at all possible. This is why we are counting on you and your support to help us meet our fundraising goal.
In 2023, All For Family supervised a total of 490.5 visit hours for our clients over the course of 230 visits for the year. An additional 90 visit offered were offered, but were canceled by clients due to illness and other reasons.
Since our inception on October 9th, 2018, we have witnessed several of our clients successfully reunite with their families &/or progress to enough unsupervised time to no longer need our services. We regularly receive new referrals for families who are in need of our visit services, and our hope is to help and serve as many as we can. With increased funding and more active volunteers, we could likely easily double our impact of 2023 based on our current space capacity.
