VIM-St. Charles, founded inn1996, provides free care to residents of St. Charles and Lincoln counties. There are no paid employees at VIM-STC. All physicians, nurses, and staff are volunteers, providing more than 8398 hours of service for 3559 patient visits in 2022. The National VIM Alliance has recognized VIM-St. Charles as the most efficiently operated VIM clinic of its size in the United States. 45% of our 2022 budget was used to purchase prescription medications for our patients. For every $1 of operating expenses we provide over $20 of health care services.

Mission

We are a free clinic with no paid employees. The Mission of Volunteers In Medicine - St. Charles is to serve the health care needs of St. Charles and Lincoln County adult residents who are not covered by Medicare,Medicaid, or private insurance and whose household income meets Federal Poverty Guidelines.
