St. Margaret of Scotland School

A nonprofit organization

St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic School is a vibrant and growing school in the City of St. Louis. Last spring, over the course of one weekend in March, our fearless teachers transitioned their entire curricula to be computer accessible, and we put systems in place to ensure there were computers in the home of each student. As our school transitioned to a "distance learning plan" in response to the community response to the Covid-19 threat, we worked to keep our focus on connection, education, support, and community.

Over the past year, the school has been able to serve the needs of both in-person, and distance-learning students, providing a challenging, supportive, engaging curriculum day in and day out. After this year of highly responsive teaching, we are in continued need of funds to update student laptops, as well as other distance-learning technologies, to keep our school responsive to the needs of students at this unique time in education.

Mission

St. Margaret of Scotland Parish School is a diverse, urban, vibrant, and inclusive Catholic community. We transitioned to educating our students via "distance learning" over the course of a weekend last year as our community responded to Covid 19 concerns. Funds raised today will help our school continue to offer the needed technology to support both our "in-person" learners, as well as our "virtual" students as we continue to teach in a hybrid model.
