Lindenwood Area Senior Ministry

LASM works to support older adults in remaining engaged in their community and living independently for as long as possible. We provide case management services and a monthly newsletter. Our programs include medical transportation, home repairs and adaptations, social and educational programming, Memory Keepers, and Stephen Ministry. We engage volunteers of all ages from the community in planning programs and providing services. Journeying with seniors through the aging process is what we are all about!

This year's Give STL Day funds will go to assist five of LASM's neediest individuals who are experiencing hardships. These older adults have incomes below the federal poverty level making it nearly impossible to afford housing and food, much less unexpected expenses that arise. They are living with broken appliances, the inability to purchase a window AC unit for the summer months, difficulty covering utility and medical expenses.
