FIVE FACTS THAT DRIVE OUR WORK - The Challenges Youth and Young Adults Face Today
1. Addictions costs our Nation more than $740 billion annually in costs related to crime, lost work productivity and health care
2. Americans between the ages of 18 and 25 are most likely to use addictive drugs
3. Acceleration of drug overdoses in recent years has pushed down overall life expectancy in the United States
4. The average for drug-related deaths in Missouri is higher than the national average

5. FOR EVERY DOLLAR INVESTED IN RECOVERY SUPPORT, $12 ARE SAVED IN TREATMENT COSTS, INCARCERATION EXPENSES, LOST EARNINGS AND WAGES, EXCESS HEALTHCARE SPENDING, AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE COSTS

Through our vibrant and sober community and the expressive arts, we make sobriety "screaming fun" and so much more empowering than substance use disorder.

We invite youth/young adults, and their families, to join our vibrant community where they create, exhibit, and have "earned highs" and "screaming fun" together as they overcome the challenges of staying sober.

We rely on individual giving, business support, and grants to create and build our programs that are based on the needs of our young adults. 80% of contributions and donations go directly to these programs.

Mission

Mission: Empower youth/young adults in recovery from substance use disorder through a vibrant sober community and the exploration of expressive arts.

Getting clean/sober is difficult. Staying clean/sober is equally challenging. We focus on helping young people stay clean/sober by coming together to have "screaming fun" as we create and exhibit our work!

Creation is the opposite of self-destruction.
